Economech has specialised in providing mechanical services to data centres throughout New Zealand and is now considered the leading contractor in this market. We have been involved in both designed and design build projects and endeavour to provide value engineering input to all projects.

Economech has not only built numerous data centres but also upgraded significant existing facilities whilst keeping them operating. We have also undertaken many subsequent data floor fitouts.

There are numerous clients with whom we have worked for over 10 years, and during this time we have explored and built numerous systems where innovative processes have been either retrofitted or incorporated into systems from concept stages. Our services to clients also include involvement with PUE tuning.

In the last few years the Data Centres Infrastructure has gown exponentially with better undersea connectivity and large international clients and operators creating a significant presence in New Zealand. Economech has worked together with clients to assist in early project stages to aid shorter build programmes and extend supply-chain procurement lead times. We have completed several of the new sites and are continuously working on new builds as well as fit-out and upgrades to existing facilities.
